Mounting codes (IEC 60034-7)

CodeMounting
B3Feet, horizontal shaft
B5Large flange (FF), through holes, no feet
B14Small face flange (FT), tapped holes, no feet
B35Feet and B5 flange
B34Feet and B14 face
V1B5 flange, shaft down
V5Feet on a wall, shaft down

H = shaft centre height above the feet, and the frame number: a 132 frame has its shaft 132 mm up. A = foot holes across the shaft, B = along it, C = shaft shoulder to the nearest foot holes, K = foot hole. S, M and L are short, medium and long feet on the same height. D×E = shaft diameter × length; “=” means the 2-pole shaft is the same.

Same frame, same holes, same shaft: any maker's 4 kW 112M bolts down where the old one was. Check the power, speed and mounting on the nameplate before you order.

Dimensions to IEC 60072-1; kW per frame is the usual EN 50347 assignment at 50 Hz, and a high-efficiency motor can be one frame larger. The maker's dimension drawing wins over this sheet.
