Privacy
The short version: calculators run in your browser and what you type into them is never sent to us. The only personal thing we keep is an email address, and only if you sign up for the newsletter.
The calculators, charts and tables
Every calculation happens on your device. Numbers you enter are not transmitted, logged or stored. Like any web server we see which page was requested; we count pages, not people, and we don't keep IP addresses.
The newsletter
If you sign up for The Shop Sheet we store four things: your email address, the date, the page you signed up on, and the exact sentence you agreed to. Nothing else — no name, no IP address, no tracking.
We use it for one thing: sending that monthly email. We don't sell it, rent it or share it, except with the email service that delivers the newsletter for us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends. To have your address deleted completely, reply to any issue and ask.
Advertising and analytics
Some pages carry advertising, and ad networks may set their own cookies under their own policies. Where analytics is enabled it measures page views in aggregate.
