Missing side, area, perimeter and angles of a right triangle.

How it works

a² + b² = c², where c is always the hypotenuse — the side opposite the right angle and the longest of the three.

Given two sides the third follows immediately, and the angles come from the inverse tangent of the ratio of the two legs. The area of a right triangle is half the product of its legs.
